Report Card Season is Upon Me

Hi again, my computer and I have made up - we're good now.... its my printer that's giving me grief this evening, though. Oh well.
So its report card time and I'm not quite sure if I'll make it so if I don't .... I love you all, take care!!!

On to other exciting news, though. I have decided to pursue a second career. I think I will still teach - as scary as that may be and I may not have a life for a few months yet, but eventually its got to get better. My second career is going to be becoming a Fitness Professional. This could mean a variety of things but my specilizations will be personal training, nutrition and wellness, and pilates / yoga. Eventually I think I'll take a fitness instructor course but for now I'll do those three and see where it gets me.
Why am I doing this? Because I love fitness and nutrition and teaching others about healthy lifestyles. This would be a great part time job in addition to teaching. I will be starting my training in June in Calgary (June 1, 2 and 3). I'll be able to complete my NWS (Nutrition and Wellness Specialist) course then with an exam in July. Then I'll be taking a fitness theory course in July and a Resistance Training course in August - all in Calgary. So by the fall I should be certified in a few different areas. I'm excited about it.
So if any of you need some personal training in the fall, call me! :)

In other news I am actually going to apply to the Calgary Board of Education this week - we'll see where that goes. A couple of weeks ago I was ready to 'throw in the towel" but if I'm not positive about it, I need to still give it a chance because the days that I enjoy are better than working at any other job I could imagine. Anyways, that's my life right now - back to report cards!
